Permeable paving allows the surface water to pass between blocks into a calculated sub-base.
Concrete block permeable is different to conventional paving because it allows rainwater to filter through gaps between the blocks. Then, the open graded stone sub-base below has enough space to store the water for a short time until it soaks into the ground or gradually flows into the sewer.
